Linesider stands on other people’s work. Thank you to everyone below. Linesider is independent, and none of them endorse it. Live data and the catalogue can be out of date or wrong, and the sources below are not responsible for how Linesider uses them.

Pictures

Vehicle pictures and operator logos in the catalogue mostly come from Wikimedia Commons, under the licence each file carries. Linesider resizes, crops and trims them. See the author and licence of each picture. Operator names and logos belong to their owners and appear only to identify the operator. Photos of spots belong to the spotters who took them.

• Aircraft positions: adsb.lol, under the Open Database License (ODbL).
• Maps, stops and places: © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL, through Overpass, Photon, Nominatim and BRouter.
• Great Britain rail: Powered by National Rail Enquiries. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
• Netherlands: OVapi and NDOV loket (CC0), and the NS Virtual Train API.
• San Francisco Bay Area: Transit data provided by 511.org.
• New York: Bus data provided by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
• Boston: Transit data provided by the MBTA.
• Philadelphia: Transit data provided by SEPTA.
• Toronto: Transit data provided by the Toronto Transit Commission.
• Oʻahu: Real-time data from TheBus, Oahu Transit Services.
• Helsinki: Data © Helsinki Region Transport (HSL), CC BY 4.0.
• Prague: Data by Golemio and Prague Integrated Transport (PID).
• Germany: Train data through bahn.expert.

The catalogue

• Wikipedia: Fleet tables from English and French Wikipedia and the Canadian Public Transit Discussion Board, adapted by Linesider. Wikipedia text is under CC BY-SA 4.0.
• UK buses: Vehicle data from bustimes.org, which its community contributes.
• Aircraft: The OpenSky Network aircraft database, the FAA Releasable Aircraft Database, and rosters kept by the spotters at jethroseu.co.uk.
• Airports and countries: OurAirports and Natural Earth, both public domain. Station locations from OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL.
• Regions: iso-codes, under the LGPL 2.1.

• Lucide: Icons, under the ISC License.
• Supabase: Client libraries, under the MIT License.
